Honey was adopted from a dog pound March 24, 2008 just 13 days after we adopted a tiny chihuahua from a breeder. Honey is very protective & loving towards her new sister, Precious. They're also best friends. When we first got honey, she was 13.2 lbs. She's now 22.7 lbs. She may not be completely dachshund, but is for the most part. She's 3-4 yo. She follows me room to room & loves to nestle in blankets where she begins to saw logs wonderfully. She's full of love & is perhaps the most well-behaved dog I've ever had.
